Information We Collect
When you create an account on SpecsOven, we collect your email address and a username of your choice. If you sign in with a one-time code sent via email, we do not store a password. We also collect device ratings, comments, favorites, and ownership data that you voluntarily submit.
We use Google Analytics to understand general traffic patterns — page views, referral sources, and geographic regions at a country level. This data is anonymized and cannot be traced back to individual users.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to operate the site: display your profile, show your ratings and comments, maintain your favorites and owned-device lists, and improve the catalog. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (session management) and preference storage (theme selection). Google Analytics uses its own cookies to track page views. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings.
Data Retention
You can delete your account at any time from the settings page. When you delete your account, your profile, ratings, and comments are removed. Content you posted as comments may remain visible but will be anonymized.
